ORMOND BEACH, Fla. --- Rained out each of the previous two days, University of St. Francis made up for it on Saturday playing a pair of extra-inning affairs and coming up with a split against William Woods University (MO).

KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- The skies finally cleared and the fields finally dried after two days of rain as University of St. Francis completed its Spring Break softball trip to Florida with a split of two Saturday games. USF dropped its morning game against Rutgers-Newark (NJ), 4-3 in eight innings, and then came back to post an easy 8-1 win over Ashford (IA) in the afternoon.

TAMPA, Fla. --- University of St. Francis opened the spring portion of its campaign Wednesday and Thursday by placing 10th in a field of 13 teams at the Northern Illinois University Snowbird Intercollegiate at Pebble Creek Golf and Country Club.

ORLANDO, Fla. --- University of St. Francis made Saint Mary's College (IN) work hard for its 9-0 victory on Wednesday morning, but the effort did not stop there for the Saints, who rallied to defeat Malone University (OH), 5-4, later that day to finish their Florida trek at 2-3.
