PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. - Injury-riddled University of St. Francis played its second ranked Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference opponent in four days and again came up on the short end, dropping a 9-0 decision at No. 21-ranked Trinity Christian.

The Saints (2-10-1, 2-3-1) did get two players back from the injured list - senior goalkeeper Ashley Kekelik (T.F. South H.S./Lansing, IL) and freshman defender Ann Zajda (Joliet Catholic Academy/Plainfield, IL) but it was not enough manpower to match the host Trolls (7-3-3, 5-0-1).

TCC scored six first-half goals and added three more in the final 45 minutes. The Trolls registered 18 shots on goal and limited the Saints to just 2. USF's shots were credited to senior midfielder Caitlin Byrnes (Plainfield South H.S./Joliet, IL) and freshman midfielder Amber Zukowski (Andrew H.S./Tinley Park, IL).

USF travels to north suburban Deerfield on Saturday for a noon kickoff at CCAC foe Trinity International.
