JOLIET, Ill. - University of St. Francis senior libero Courtney Ambrosch (Joliet Township H.S./Joliet, IL) was named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 11.

The first-place Saints went 2-0 on the week, winning a pair of crucial CCAC matches over fourth-place Saint Xavier (in three games) and third-place Illinois Tech (in four games). Ambrosch played a key role in the wins with 31 service receptions in as many tries and a team-high 33 digs over the two matches.

Ambrosch, one of the team captains, leads USF in digs with an average of 5.55 per game and stands second in the league in that category.

USF pushed its winning streak to six and improved its CCAC-leading record to 7-0 with a 3-game win over Trinity Christian at the Recreation Center on Tuesday night.
