ELGIN, Ill. - University of St. Francis won the first two games easily but could not keep the momentum as host Judson rallied to win the final three games, handing the Saints their first Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference loss and snapping the Saints' six-match winning streak.

USF (21-9, 7-1) took the first two games by identical scores of 25-16. Judson (6-17, 3-3) used strong defense to come back and take game three by a 25-18 score. Game four was close throughout, with Judson pulling out a 25-23 decision. USF led the fifth and rubber game by a 9-7 margin but Judson outscored the Saints 8-3 down the stretch to take the match with a 15-12 win.

Freshman outside hitter Jazzmyne Robbins (La Salle-Peru H.S./Peru, IL) led the USF offense with 22 kills. Junior middle blocker Kyrsten Becker (Rolling Meadows H.S./Arlington Heights, IL) was next with 14 and sophomore outside hitter Kristee Conrad (Stagg H.S./hickory Hills, IL) added 11.

Senior Courtney Ambrosch (Joliet Township H.S./Joliet, IL) led USF with 28 digs and 30 service receptions. Four other players notched double figures totals in kills. Becker had 18, freshmen Dana Wettergren (Oak Forest H.S./Oak Forest, IL) and Ashley Thompson (Portage H.S./Hobart, IN) each had 16 and freshmen setter Ashley Richards (Wilmington H.S./Wilmington, IL) contributed 15.

USF, which entered the match with a 7-0 first-place CCAC mark and a half-game lead over 6-0 Olivet Nazarene, now stands a half-game behind ONU. Despite the loss, USF has won 13 of its last 15 matches.
