JOLIET, Ill. - Freshman forward Victor Trujillo (De La Salle Institute/Chicago, IL) has been named to the Honorable Mention list on the 2009 All-Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference team for the 2009 season.

Trujillo led the Saints in scoring with 8 goals and 17 points on the year. That represented the most goals and points scored by a Saint since Piotr Chrobak scored 9 goals and posted 28 points in the 2004 season.

USF finished the 2009 season with a 6-10-2 overall record and placed in a tie for seventh in the CCAC final standings. The Saints narrowly missed qualifying for the CCAC post-season tournament which included the top six teams in the conference.

The Saints held a winning record for a good portion of the season before dropping their last five contests. Despite the poor finish, the six wins were the most for the Saints since the 2005 season. USF tripled its win total from the 2008 season when it finished just 2-12 in head coach Ko Thanadabouth's first season with the program.
