University of St. Francis will open its 2009-2010 women's golf campaign on Sept. 1 when the Fighting Saints host their annual fall invitational. Inwood Golf Course will serve as the venue for the event with six teams expected to compete.

Besides St. Francis, other teams slated to play in the 18-hole tournament include North Central College, Robert Morris University, Lincoln College, Judson University and Holy Cross College.

Head coach Tom O'Connor's club features six newcomers, including sophomore Rachael Anderson (Plainfield South H.S./Joliet, IL) who returns to the program after attending Joliet Junior College for one year.
