ELGIN, Ill. -- Jacqie Storm's (Sandburg H.S./Orland Park, IL) 22 points led the University of St. Francis to an upset victory over previously unbeaten and No. 2-ranked Saint Xavier last Tuesday night. She also led her team in scoring in a win over Trinity Christian to help lead the Saints to their sixth consecutive win.

For her performances, Storm has been named CCAC Women's Basketball Division I Player of the Week for the week ending January 17.

In the win over Saint Xavier, Storm made 4-of-8 three-point shots and also grabbed four rebounds and had four assists. She made 7-of-16 shots from the field.

Storm added a team-high 14 points in just 17 minutes of playing time in the Saints' non-conference win over Trinity Christian on Saturday. She also had three rebounds, two steals and an assist. She connected on 6-of-11 shots including two three-pointers.

In the two games combined, Storm averaged 18.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals. She shot 48 percent from the field (13-27) and 54 percent (6-11) from the three-point line. Storm ranks sixth in the league with a 13.6 points per game average.

The Saints have won eight of their last nine games and are now 11-10 overall and 2-0 in the CCAC.

Storm also won POW honors in late December.
