ALLENDALE, Mich. --- Sophomores Vanessa Sager (Tinley Park H.S./Tinley Park, IL) and Courtney Madden (Plainfield Central H.S./Plainfield, IL) recorded University of St. Francis' top individual finishes at the Grand Valley State University (MI)/Bob Eubanks Open with Sager placing fourth in the triple jump and Madden ninth in the mile run on Friday night.

Sager's best jump covered 9.97 meters, while Madden ran her race in 5:30.58.

USF also earned a seventh-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay with team members Jessica Horn (Montague H.S./Montague, MI), Aprille Froelich (Amboy H.S./Amboy, IL), Brittany McAllister (Plainfield Central H.S./Crest Hill, IL) and Madden covering the distance in 4:13.44.

The Saints travel to Bloomington, Ill. next Saturday to compete in the Illinois Wesleyan University Titan Open.
