
ROMEOVILLE, Ill. --- A limited University of St. Francis contingent competed in the Women's Chicagoland Championships at Lewis University on Friday with the Saints earning points in two of their four events to place 14th out of 20 teams.
Six of USF's nine points came in the distance medley, where the team of junior Brittany McAllister (Plainfield South H.S./Crest Hill, IL), sophomore Aprille Froelich (Amboy H.S./Amboy, IL) and freshmen Torin Mallonee (Xavier H.S./Cedar Rapids, IA) and Julia Borel-Donohue (Bellbrook H.S./Bellbrook, OH) ran a 13:06.20 to place third overall.
The Saints' other three points came from freshman Chelsea Rimington (Lena-Winslow H.S./Lena, IL) in the shot put competition. She placed sixth with a toss of 11.52 meters.
