EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - University of St. Francis junior Jessica Horn (Montague H.S./Montague, MI) finished in a tie for 15th place among 16 competitors in the women's heptathlon at the NAIA Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday.

Horn, who also qualified for the NAIA outdoor meet last May and the recent NAIA indoor meet this past March, finished with a total of 4,090 points in the two-day, seven-event competition.

Horn finished two spots higher -- 13th -- at last year's NAIA heptathlon but improved her score this year by over 300 points. She racked up a total of 3,763 in 2008 but compiled a score of 4,090 this year.

Horn was the lone USF participant, male or female, in the national meet.
