MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. --- University of St. Francis finished in the top six in five separate events with a pair of individuals falling into that grouping in two of those events at the Central Michigan University Jack Skoog Open on Friday.

USF's best overall placement was recorded by its 4x400-meter relay team, which gained runner-up honors with its 4:30.92 finish. Making up that team was sophomore Gina Aloisio (Aurora Central Catholic H.S./Aurora, IL) and freshmen Nicole Losito (Oak Forest H.S./Oak Forest, IL), Jamie Topp (St. Mary Cathedral H.S./Gaylord, MI) and Sarah Topp (St. Mary Cathedral H.S./Gaylord, MI).

Sophomore Vanessa Sager (Tinley Park H.S./Tinley Park, IL) registered the next two highest finishes with her third-place showing in the triple jump (34 feet, 0.75 inches) and her fifth-place effort in the long jump (15-8.75).

Freshman Chelsea Rimington (Lena-Winslow H.S./Lena, IL) also earned a fifth-place finish with hers coming in the shot put, where she had a throw of 36-10.25.

Three sixth-place performances came from senior Jessica Horn (Montague H.S./Montague, MI) in the long jump (15-3.25), senior Jennifer Beard (Plainfield Central H.S./Plainfield, IL) in the shot put (34-8.5) and freshman Samantha Bond (Lockport H.S./Lockport, IL) in the 200 meter dash (28.13 seconds).

Friday's meet wrapped up the indoor portion of the season for the team with its first outdoor meet slated for March 31 at the Trinity Christian College Troll Invitational.
