ORLANDO, Fla. - The University of St. Francis men's tennis team kicked off its spring break trip to Florida Saturday with a 7-2 victory over Warner University (FL). The victory extended the Saints' winning streak to four matches and pushed the team's overall record to 6-1.

USF got singles wins in the first five matches, losing only at No. 6. The Saints also won at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.

Junior Jakub Szymanski (Bethany College/Poznan, Poland) started off the singles victories with a straight set win at No. 1. He also teamed with junior Jake Quigley (Joliet Catholic Academy/Joliet, IL) to post a win at No. 2 doubles. Other USF singles' winners included senior Luis Olivera (Seward County CC/Sao Lourenco, Brazil) at No. 2, Quigley at No. 3, freshman Andres Stecher (Pestalozzi H.S./Buenos Aires, Argentina) at No. 4 and Erick Dobrzynski (Moraine Valley CC/Justice, IL) at No. 5.

Oliveira and senior Scott Surges (Providence Catholic H.S./Joliet, IL) also won at No. 1 doubles. Surges was held out of singles action as he is fighting a virus and his stamina is limited.

USF plays again on Sunday as it faces Kings College (PA) at 9 a.m. (CST) in Kissimmee, Fla.
