LOCKPORT, Ill. --- University of St. Francis wrapped up the regular-season portion of its schedule dropping an 8-1 decision to NAIA No. 13-ranked Indiana Wesleyan University Thursday afternoon at the Challenge Fitness Tennis Courts.

USF junior Barb Koziol (Reavis H.S./Burbank, IL) was the only Saint to break into the win column, gaining her victory at No. 6 singles by a 6-4, 6-4 count.

Indiana Wesleyan (17-0) dominated in doubles play losing only three games. The story was much the same on the singles side as the Wildcats dropped only seven games in their first five matches combined prior to Koziol's victory.

USF (12-8) will now sit tight while awaiting word to find out if it will advance to NAIA post-season play as one of the top six teams in a four-conference field. The pool-play tournament begins April 29 and will be hosted by Olivet Nazarene University.
