Her two-out, third-inning single drove in a pair of runs in the opener and pushed the Saints' lead to 3-0. She added a run-scoring single in the fifth inning as well. Heap picked up three of her walks in game two and added another RBI single to her statistical line for the day.
Senior center fielder Kendel Behrens (Morris H.S./Morris, IL) was 3-for-7 on the day with 2 runs scored and a pair of RBI. Junior shortstop Caitlin Dolan (Lincoln-Way East H.S./Frankfort, IL) also hit safely in both games with a pair of singles and 4 RBI on the day.
