University of St. Francis sophomore pitcher Jackie Frey (Plainfield South H.S./Plainfield, IL)earned two conference victories last week to earn Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week honors for the week ending April 25.

Frey fired a pair of five-inning shutouts to lead the Saints to two 8-0 victories over CCAC foes Cardinal Stritch and Calumet College of St. Joseph. She allowed five hits in the win over Stritch and just two hits in the victory over Calumet.

The wins helped USF clinch a berth in the upcoming CCAC Championship Tournament which will be held May 6-8 at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais.
