
MUNSTER, Ind. - University of St. Francis junior Grant Whybark (Morris H.S./Morris, IL) fired a course-record round of 67 to lead the Saints to an easy win over new Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference golf member Purdue University Calumet Sunday afternoon at Centennial Park Golf Course.
Junior Mike Mysker (Andrew H.S./Tinley Park, IL) followed Whybark with a round of 75. Junior Kevin Wiatr (Lemont H.S./Lemont, IL) posted a 78 and sophomore transfer Josh Gorzney (Plano H.S./Elmhurst College/Plano, IL) completed the Saints' scoring with a 79.
USF finished with a team total of 299 and Purdue Calumet fired a 344.
The Saints open their regular season of play on Tuesday, Sept. 7 when they play rival Lewis University at Wedgewood Golf Course.
