NAPERVILLE, Ill. --- Earning an NAIA nationals-qualifying time of 41.24 seconds, the 4x100-meter relay team of junior Lexus Jackson (University Park, Ill./ Crete-Monee), sophomore Brandon Ruffin (Peoria, Ill./ Peoria), junior Sam Bandemer (Plainfield, Ill./ Plainfield East) and junior Jordan Duncan (St. Charles, Ill./ St. Charles East) highlighted University of St. Francis' performances at the North Central College Dr. Keeler Track & Field Invitational, which was held on Thursday and Friday.

That team earned a third-place finish at the meet, the same placement that Duncan gained in the 100-meter dash with his time of 10.77 seconds.

Also finishing among the top eight performers in their respective events were seniors Ryan Bauers (Carol Stream, Ill./ Bartlett) and Ian Welsh (Villa Park, Ill./ Willowbrook).  Bauers used a throw of 48 feet, eight inches to place seventh in the shot put.  Welsh was eighth in the hammer throw with his heave of 161 feet.

No team results were kept at the meet.
