GULF SHORES, Ala. --- Four All-American efforts, including one from junior Jenna Moody (Joliet, Ill./ Plainfield Central) on Saturday, enabled University of St. Francis to produce its highest-ever finish – eighth place – at the NAIA Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships.  Moody joined teammates Raven Kelly (Romeoville, Ill./ Romeoville) and Isi Edeko (Bellwood, Ill./ Walther Lutheran) on the awards stand over the three-day meet with Kelly boasting a pair of All-American awards, including one individual national title in the hammer.

Moody placed fourth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 55.97 seconds to net five points for St. Francis on Saturday.  That gave the Saints a total of 29 points for the meet, just three points behind seventh-place Hastings College (Neb.).

Wayland Baptist University (Tex.) captured its second title in the past three years, finishing with 75 points. Indiana Tech was a distant second with 56 points.  Southern University at New Orleans placed third with 42 points.

Also competing on Saturday for the Saints was senior Gracie Ball (Batavia, Ill./ Batavia.).  She registered a time of 11:45.51 in the 3,000 meter steeplechase to place 15th among 18 competitors.
