GEORGETOWN, Ky. -Junior guard Julie Schiffler (Nazareth Academy/La Grange Park, IL) and sophomore forward Molly Bardson (Ottawa H.S./Grand Ridge, IL) scored 20 points apiece to lead University of St. Francis to a 72-63 road win over Georgetown College Friday night on the first day of the Jim Reid Classic.

The Saints (4-4) won their second straight game and reached the .500 mark for just the second time. USF jumped to a quick early lead and never trailed in registering their fourth straight win over Georgetown (4-2) - who received votes in the NAIA Division I preseason poll - in the past four years. Two of those four wins have come over the Tigers at this very same Jim Reid Classic. The Saints won at this tourney back in 2008 as well.

Bardson added 7 rebounds, a pair of assists and a blocked shot to go along with her career-best 20 points. She also made 12-of-13 free throw attempts. Schiffler scored 22 for the second time in her past four games and was 6-of-10 from the floor and 8-of-11 from the charity stripe.

USF also got double-figures scoring from starting point guard Brandi Pudik (Kankakee CC/Washington, IL) who finished with 17 points and starting guard/forward Michelle Karr (Providence Catholic H.S./Tinley Park, IL) who added 11.

The Saints play NAIA Division I No. 12-ranked University of the Cumberlands (KY) on Saturday at 1 p.m.
