ORLANDO, Fla. --- University of St. Francis' men's tennis team slipped to 2-7 on the season after suffering a 7-0 defeat at the hands of NCAA I University of Toledo (OH) and a 7-2 setback to Warner University (FL) on Tuesday.

Toledo (14-8) handled the Saints winning all six singles matches without allowing more than three games won by USF in any one set. The Rockets also earned 8-2, 8-4, 8-1 victories in doubles play.

In the second match, senior Jakub Szymanski (Bethany College, KS/Poznan Poland) won at No. 2 singles, 7-6 (8-6), 6-0 with senior Jacob Quigley (Saint Xavier University/Joliet Catholic Academy/Joliet, IL) earning a 6-2, 6-1 decision in the No. 3 slot for the Saints' only victories on the day.

St. Francis takes Wednesday off before wrapping up its seven-match Florida trip on Thursday facing NCAA II Wayne State University (MI).
