LOCKPORT, Ill. --- The Challenge Fitness tennis courts have been home sweet home for University of St. Francis through its first two matches as the Fighting Saints registered their second 9-0 win at home on Wednesday afternoon with Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ind.) being the victim this time.

St. Francis, which surpassed its win total for all of last year with the victory, cruised in singles play with no Saint yielding more than two games in any one set. Freshman Katie Kipping (Newman Central Catholic H.S./Dixon, IL) and sophomore Agnieszka Belza (Nazareth Academy/Chicago, IL) both recorded 6-0, 6-0 whitewashes at No. 1 and 4 singles, respectively, while sophomore Danielle Emola (Lincoln-Way East H.S./Frankfort, IL), senior Carla Braun (Lincoln-Way Central H.S./New Lenox, IL) and junior Barb Koziol (Reavis H.S./Burbank, IL) gave up just one game in their respective matches, winning 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2, 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5 and 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6.

Junior Corinne Lutz (Minooka H.S./Minooka, IL) rounded out the list of singles winners with her 6-2, 6-1 victory in the No. 3 slot. Lutz also teamed with Braun for an 8-5 doubles victory at No. 3, the same score as that of Belza and junior Emily Zajda (Joliet Catholic Academy/Plainfield, IL) at No. 2.

Emola and Kipping landed the No. 1 doubles victory, 8-2.

USF (5-2) heads next to Mishawaka, Ind. on Friday to take on Bethel College (Ind.) in a 3 p.m. contest.
