LOCKPORT, Ill. --- University of St. Francis senior Jacob Quigley (Saint Xavier University/Joliet Catholic Academy/Joliet, IL) was the only Saint who could crack the code against NAIA No. 16-ranked Aquinas College (MI) as Aquinas came away with a 7-2 victory over the Saints at the Challenge Fitness indoor courts on Friday night.

Quigley teamed up with senior Jakub Szymanski (Bethany College, KS/Poznan, Poland) for USF's only victory in doubles play. They combined to defeat the team of John Telfer and Travis Wolf, 8-3, at the No. 2 spot.

Quigley then went on to defeat Wolf, 6-2, 6-3, at No. 3 singles.

Senior Erick Dobrzynski (Moraine Valley Community College/Justice, IL) was the only other Saint to challenge for a victory in singles play. He opened with a 7-5 win against Michael Sendor in the No. 5 position before dropping 6-2, 10-8 decisions.

USF's two matches against Indiana Institute of Technology and University of Saint Francis (IN) scheduled for Saturday have been canceled due to the cold forecast in the Fort Wayne area. The Saints host Judson University on Saturday, April 2 at 10 a.m.
