Helping lead University of St. Francis to a 3-0 record on the week, freshman Princess Clemente (Andrew H.S./Tinley Park, IL) has been named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week. She went 6-0 on the week in singles and doubles play.
Clemente only gave up six points in singles play as she went 3-0.
She picked up wins at No. 1 singles over Judson University's Antigone Lowery (6-3, 6-1), Purdue Calumet's Jamie Pittman (6-0, 6-0) and Calumet's Ashley Cherry (6-1, 6-1). In doubles, she and partner Corinne Lutz (Minooka H.S./Minooka, IL) won 8-1 vs. Judson and 8-0 against Purdue Calumet and Calumet.
She finished the week 12-9 on the year in singles play and 13-8 in doubles.
