JOLIET, Ill. - University of St. Francis pushed its volleyball winning streak to seven matches and improved its Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference mark to 4-0 with a four-game victory over Trinity International Tuesday night at the Recreation Center.

Freshman outside hitter Jazzmyne Robbins (La Salle-Peru H.S./Peru, IL) led the Saints' attack with 19 kills and junior middle blocker Lauren Hoffman (Plainfield South H.S./Plainfield, IL) was right behind her with 15. Hoffman's hitting percentage of .519 led the team as she committed just 1 error in 27 total attempts. Sophomore right-side attacker Sarah Ahline (Lemont H.S./Lemont, IL) added a dozen kills with a .421 attacking percentage.

Hoffman excelled on the defensive end as well, leading the Saints with 6 blocks. Freshman setter Ashley Richards (Wilmington H.S./Wilmington, IL) added 4 blocks and ran the USF offense with 50 assists. Senior libero Courtney Ambrosch (Joliet Township H.S./Joliet, IL) topped the club with 21 digs.

As a team, the Saints (22-14, 4-0) committed no service reception errors. Junior outside hitter Kyrsten Becker (Rolling Meadows H.S./Arlington Heights, IL) had a team-high 20 receptions, with Ambrosch adding 19 and freshman defensive specialist Dana Wettergren (Oak Forest H.S./Oak Forest, IL) contributing 14.

USF dominated games one, three and four and TIU (10-9, 1-2) managed to come from behind to win a tight, 30-28 verdict in game two.

The Saints travel to St. Charles, Mo., this weekend to participate in the Lindenwood University Invitational.
