DECATUR, Ill. --- University of St. Francis posted near-identical numbers on Friday and Saturday at the Millikin University Big Blue Fall Classic finishing the two-day, 36-hole meet in seventh place out of 19 teams at the Red Tail Golf Club.

USF, which also was seventh after the first round, which was suspended by darkness on Friday, recorded rounds of 317 and 316 to finish with a two-day total of 633.

Junior Pat Fitzgerald (Homewood-Flossmoor H.S./Flossmoor, IL) and sophomore Mike Mysker (Andrew H.S./Tinley Park, IL) finished in a two-way tie for the top spot on the Saint charts with their scores of 155, 11 shots over par.  Overall, they placed in a three-way tie for 22nd.

Fitzgerald followed his 77 on Friday with a 78 on Saturday, while Mysker registered a team-best 76 on Friday before a round of 79 on Saturday.

Sophomore Steve Wojcik (Andrew H.S./Tinley Park, IL) shot rounds of 81 and 80 to finish in third place on the team at 161.  That was one shot better than sophomore Kevin Wiatr (Lemont H.S./Lemont, IL) (83-79/162).

Junior Tyler Keith (Lincoln-Way Central H.S./New Lenox, IL) also competed for the Saints posting rounds of 84 and 86 for a two-day total of 170.

Olivet Nazarene University captured the Classic crown with a 603, four strokes better than host Millikin (607) and five strokes better than third-place Missouri Baptist University (608).

Webster University's Kyler Scott was the lone player to shoot par for the tournament, earning medalist honors by finishing at 144 after rounds of 69 and 75.

USF wraps up the fall portion of its season on October 15-16 competing in the NAIA National Preview Tournament at Deer Run Golf Course in Silvis, Ill.
