The Saints got on the scoreboard in the 36th minute of the first half when sophomore forward Erin Voss (Nazareth Academy/Elmhurst, IL) connected from 30 feet in front of the net off a pass from freshman defender Ann Zajda (Joliet Catholic Academy/Plainfield, IL). For Voss, it was her team-leading seventh goal despite missing the previous three games over the last two weeks due to an injury.
