CHICAGO --- University of St. Francis opened its busiest week of the year on a down note dropping a 91-63 exhibition contest to NCAA I Chicago State University Sunday afternoon at the Jones Convocation Center.

Five different Chicago State players scored in double figures to lead the Cougars to their first win of the season in 17 attempts.  Jeremy Robinson doubled the count of any of his teammates with a game-high 29 points on 11-of-14 shooting from the field.  He also hauled in nine rebounds, provided four assists and blocked four shots.

St. Francis' lone double-figure scorer was senior center Jordan Lee (Southeastern Oklahoma State University/Champaign, IL) off the bench.  He netted 19 points to go along with seven rebounds.

Sophomore guard Andrew Lerg (DeWitt H.S./DeWitt, MI) and freshman guard Chris Miller (Boylan H.S./Rockford, IL) each added nine points for the Saints, who shot just 39 percent from the field (21-of-54) for the game.  From the three-point arc, USF made only six of 27 attempts (22.2 pct.).

Chicago State, which led 40-32 at the break, shot 52.5 percent from the field (31-of-59) and outrebounded the Saints, 40-26.

USF (9-7) returns home Tuesday night hosting Holy Cross College (Ind.) at 7 p.m. in the first of three games against Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Division II opponents in a five-day span.
