JOLIET, Ill. --- University of St. Francis women's golf coach Tom O'Connor has announced his first signing for the 2012-2013 season in Rebecca Grynevich, who hails from Frankfort, Ill. and is a student at Lincoln-Way East High School.

NAPERVILLE, Ill.  – Freshman Maricar Nones (Connelly School/Downey, CA) fired an 87 to lead University of St. Francis' women's golf "B" squad to a fifth-place finish at the 13-team Cardinal Classic hosted by North Central College Tuesday at Cress Creek Country Club.

WAUKEGAN, Ill.  – Junior Maggie Rich (Aurora Central Catholic H.S./Aurora, IL) was the lone Saint to shoot under 90 as University of St. Francis fired a team score of 360 and finished 19 strokes off the pace at the Robert Morris University Fall Classic played at Bonnie Brook Golf Course on Friday.

WAUKEGAN, Ill. -- Senior Vicky McGowan (Lincoln-Way East H.S./Mokena, IL) and sophomore Maggie Rich (Aurora Central Catholic H.S./Aurora, IL) finished in a tie for second place with rounds of 83 to lead University of St. Francis to the team championship in the six-team Robert Morris University Spring Classic at Bonnie Brook Golf Course on Friday.

ALTON, Ill. - Senior Vicky McGowan (Lincoln-Way East H.S./Mokena, IL) finished in sixth place with rounds of 82 and 81 on Friday and Saturday to lead University of St. Francis to a second-place finish among eight teams at the NAIA National Qualifying Meet for women's golf teams from the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference and the American Midwest Conference. The tournament was held at the Spencer T. Olin Golf Course.
