JOLIET - Indiana South Bend hit a 3-point shot 10 seconds into the game and led from wire-to-wire to defeat University of St. Francis, 81-65, in a quarterfinal round game of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's basketball tournament Tuesday night at the Recreation Center.

CHICAGO - Robert Morris wrapped up an outright Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's basketball championship Saturday night with an 80-57 victory over University of St. Francis at Loyola University's Gentile Center.

JOLIET - University of St. Francis made sure Wednesday night that its retiring head coach - 34-year veteran Pat Sullivan - will get to work one more game on his home bench before his career ends. The Fighting Saints clinched fourth place and earned a first-round home game in next week's Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament with a 73-67 home win over Indiana University South Bend.

JOLIET - University of St. Francis led from wire-to-wire and ran away to an 80-52 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference victory over Holy Cross College (IN) on "Pat Sullivan Night" at the USF Recreation Center.

JOLIET - Olivet Nazarene University used a 14-0 run late in the first half to open up a close game and the No. 11 Tigers did not let the Saints recover as they handed University of St. Francis an 81-53 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference loss at the Recreation Center Saturday night.

CHICAGO - Saint Xavier University used a 19-2 run in the final 10 minutes of the first half to take a 10-point halftime lead and then pulled away from University of St. Francis in the second half and defeated the Saints, 80-50, in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's basketball game Saturday afternoon at the Shannon Center.

JOLIET, Ill. - University of St. Francis played the tempo it wanted and held defending Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference champion Robert Morris to nearly 15 points below its scoring average but the Saints' upset bid fell short as the Eagles snapped USF's brief winning streak at two games with a 67-58 victory in the Recreation Center Wednesday night.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -Trailing by eight points with a little over seven minutes remaining in the game, University of St. Francis reeled off a game-ending 22-8 run to storm back and even its Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference record at 2-2 with a 75-69 road win over Indiana University South Bend Saturday afternoon.

JOLIET - After 34 years and better than 500 coaching victories and over three decades worth of double duty as an administrator, University of St. Francis men's basketball coach Pat Sullivan has announced his retirement from the University effective at the end of the current 2009-10 season.
