MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa - Six different players scored one goal apiece as University of St. Francis opened its 2010 women's soccer season Sunday afternoon with an easy 6-0 victory over the Tigers of Iowa Wesleyan College.

 

JOLIET, Ill. - University of St. Francis' bid for the eighth and final spot in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's soccer post-season championship tournament fell just short and the Saints' season came to an end with a 1-0 loss to Cardinal Stritch Tuesday afternoon at the Galowich YMCA field.

JOLIET, Ill. - A shorthanded University of St. Francis women's soccer team dropped its fifth straight game as the Saints fell to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference foe Robert Morris, 5-0, Saturday afternoon at the Galowich YMCA on Joliet's west side.

ELGIN, Ill. - Judson scored four first-half goals and controlled the game from start to finish in a 6-0 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's soccer win over University of St. Francis Wednesday afternoon at Dawson Field on the JU campus.

 

DEERFIELD, Ill. --- University of St. Francis' offensive struggles continued as the Fighting Saints were shut out for the third game in a row with Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference foe Trinity International University delivering the 5-0 blanking on Saturday afternoon.

JOLIET, Ill. - Freshman Amber Zukowski (Andrew H.S./Tinley Park, IL) did a little relief work in goal last week and was rewarded for her efforts by the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

 

PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. - Injury-riddled University of St. Francis played its second ranked Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference opponent in four days and again came up on the short end, dropping a 9-0 decision at No. 21-ranked Trinity Christian.

 

JOLIET - University of St. Francis hung tough for 90 minutes and kept the game scoreless for the first 57 minutes but finally fell to No. 15 Olivet Nazarene, 2-0, in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference game on Saturday afternoon at the Galowich YMCA.

SCHERERVILLE, Ind. -- Freshman forward Delaney Goddard (Romeoville H.S./Romeoville, IL) scored a pair of goals to lead University of St. Francis to a 4-0 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference win over Calumet College of St. Joseph (IN) on Wednesday afternoon.

CHICAGO - University of St. Francis sent its men's and women's soccer teams to Saint Xavier this weekend and both Saints' teams managed to leave the heavily favored Cougars in knots. After the USF men rallied for a 1-1 tie against SXU on Friday, the Saints' women did the same on Saturday but in even more dramatic fashion.
