KANSAS CITY, Mo. - University of St. Francis men's golf team received its highest preseason ranking ever when the Saints corralled 30 votes to tie for 33rd place in the NAIA coaches' preseason poll released on Dec. 4.

SILVIS, Ill. --- University of St. Francis played with most of the NAIA's finest teams on Thursday and Friday and finished at the bottom of the strong 17-team field at the NAIA Preview Invitational.  The event was held at the TPC Deere Run Golf Course, site of the most recent (2009) and the upcoming (2010) NAIA Men's Golf Championships next spring. 

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - University of St. Francis sophomore Grant Whybark (Morris H.S./Morris, IL) tied for ninth individually to lead the Saints to an eighth-place finish among 19 teams at the Lindenwood University Fall Invitational Monday and Tuesday at Crescent Farms Golf Course.

JOLIET, Ill. - University of St. Francis fired a school record-low team score of 287 on Tuesday afternoon at Wedgewood Golf Course but the Fighting Saints still had to settle for second place in their own St. Francis Fall Classic.

MARION, Iowa --- University of St. Francis opened its 2009-2010 men's golf campaign registering a seventh-place finish at the Mount Mercy College (Iowa) Cropper Classic over the weekend at Hunters Ridge Golf Course.

SAN ANTONIO - University of St. Francis freshman Grant Whybark (Morris H.S./Morris, IL) has been named to the North division NAIA PING All-Region Team by the Golf Coaches Association of America. Whybark, who led USF to the NAIA Championship Tournament in May, is one of 60 NAIA players selected to the GCAA honor squads.
