MARION, Ind. - Senior Jessica Horn (Montague H.S./Montague, MI) improved on her performances of the past two years and placed 10th out of 16 competitors in the women's heptathlon at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships Friday at Indiana Wesleyan University.

HILLSDALE, Mich. --- University of St. Francis senior Meghan Bannatz (Novi H.S./Novi, MI) has qualified for the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in the 10,000 meter run after besting the qualifying time by nearly 20 seconds at the Hillsdale College (MI) Gina Relays over the weekend.

PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. - University of St. Francis captured first place in the five-team field at the Troll Relays hosted by Trinity Christian College on Wednesday at the TCC campus. The meet was the outdoor season-opening event for the Saints.

NAPERVILLE, Ill. --- University of St. Francis qualified its women's track distance medley relay team for the 2010 NAIA Indoor National Championships by registering a time of 12:57.99 at the North Central College Cardinal Classic on Saturday.

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. --- University of St. Francis finished in the top six in five separate events with a pair of individuals falling into that grouping in two of those events at the Central Michigan University Jack Skoog Open on Friday.

MARION, Ind. --- No fewer than nine members of the University of St. Francis women's track team helped the Saints land three first-place finishes and five other top four finishes at the Indiana Wesleyan University Open on Saturday.

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. --- A limited University of St. Francis contingent competed in the Women's Chicagoland Championships at Lewis University on Friday with the Saints earning points in two of their four events to place 14^th out of 20 teams.

ALLENDALE, Mich. --- Sophomores Vanessa Sager (Tinley Park H.S./Tinley Park, IL) and Courtney Madden (Plainfield Central H.S./Plainfield, IL) recorded University of St. Francis' top individual finishes at the Grand Valley State University (MI)/Bob Eubanks Open with Sager placing fourth in the triple jump and Madden ninth in the mile run on Friday night.

ROMEOVILLE --- University of St. Francis' 4x400-meter relay team and senior Jessica Horn (Montague H.S./Montague, MI) highlighted USF's opening indoor track meet of 2010 as both placed second at the Lewis University Dick Pond Invitational on Saturday.
